Mnozil Brass - from then to now

The Gasthaus Mnozil is located in Vienna's 1st district. Directly opposite the music academy. Fortunately, in 1992, seven young brass players came together at Josef Mnozil's for regular musical get-togethers. Classical folk music soon became applied brass music, always played without sheet music, suitable for all situations: typical brass music, hits, jazz and pop music, opera and operetta. Without fear, reproach or reservations, but with a great deal of Viennese wit and sophistication.

Mnozil Brass now play around 100 concerts a year worldwide: all over Europe as well as in Israel, Russia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, America and Australia. They fill venues such as the Burgtheater in Vienna, the KKL in Lucerne, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum, the opera houses in Munich, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden and Leipzig, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and the Berliner Ensemble. Of course they also fill the Gasthaus Mnozil, but in a different way.
