Unfortunately, Mark Eitzel had to cancel his performance in Dudelange. He strained his leg muscle badly and the long journey via train (with 4 changes) from Utrecht and back to Antwerp would have been too exhausting and would have jeopardized the rest of the tour

I really hate to cancel the show in at opderschmelz in Dudelange. I always feel honored to perform in this beautiful venue but I am having crazy mobility issues with my legs and it is very painful to walk. I have lost the person who is driving me around to these shows and will find it impossible for me to get there by train. I am so sorry and hope that on my next tour I will be able to perform in Dudelange.

En avril prochain, Mark Eitzel sera en tournée en Europe pour la première fois depuis huit ans. En plus de jouer ses anciens classiques d'American Music Club, Mark jouera des chansons de ses précédents albums solo et un nouvel EP en vinyle.
Mark Eitzel a publié plus de 17 albums avec American Music Club et en tant qu'artiste solo. Le Guardian l'a qualifié de plus grand parolier américain vivant, et Rolling Stone lui a décerné le prix de l'auteur-compositeur de l'année en 1992.
Formé en 1983, American Music Club a sorti sept albums classiques avant de se séparer en 1995. Le groupe s'est reformé en 2004 pour deux albums complets, Love Songs for Patriots et The Golden Age. Mark Eitzel a ensuite sorti Don't Be A Stranger en 2012 sur décor/Merge, suivi de son album solo le plus solide depuis les années 90 avec Hey Mr Ferryman en 2017.
Mark a passé une grande partie des sept dernières années à composer de la musique pour le dramaturge Simon Stephens et à travailler sur les rééditions de l'American Music Club, dont la sortie est prévue pour 2024.
