To mark the 20th anniversary of "L'Amour parfait", Cali will record a reissue of these thirteen unforgettable tracks, featuring a number of essential duets. He will be touring with Steve Nieve, well-known pianist (worked with Elvis Costello, Sting, David Bowie, Mick Jagger) with whom he has previously collaborated. This concert will celebrate 20 years of perfect love, but also the singular richness of a repertoire built up over nine albums.
This new tour is an opportunity for Cali to revisit his first album, with its many hits "C'est quand le bonheur", "Elle m'a dit"...
He'll be revisiting "L'Amour parfait" with some luminous friends he's met along the way. A new album, a variation 20 years on. A breath of fresh air. Just enough time to throw himself back into the pit. But with his buddies this time. That helps. Isn't that what it's all about?
And then, after the album, the stage. Reliving these songs in duet with Mr Steve Nieve, please (Elvis Costello, Sting, Bowie, Jagger...).
