"En me léchant l’oreille, un chat me donna
Le pouvoir de comprendre le parler des chats,
J’adoptais leur petit jeu et leurs étranges coutumes,
Je léchais mes richelieus et mon costume.”
In his 30-year career, storyteller and melodist Thomas Fersen has taken the time to build an original and personal work that occupies a special place in "chanson française". Over the last five years, he has multiplied his stage experiences, performing with a quintet, and has produced several jubilant "seul en scène", punctuated by monologues in verse of his own making, between tale and fable, farce and poem.
Thomas Fersen continues his theatrical adventure by renewing his relationship with his troupe of musicians, in a musical formula common to both the new album and the new show. He is joined by Pierre Sangrà (Saz, guitar, banjo), Alejandro Barcelona (accordion), Lionel Gaget (Moog synthesiser, Clavinet) and Touski (drums).
A collection of verse monologues, songs from the new album and his older repertoire, without interrupting the story line, which is that of a wacky man who looks back on his long career and his past escapades as a hot rabbit, his taste for disguise naturally leading Thomas Fersen to put on his skin.
Coproduction: Théâtre Montansier.
