Da Blechhaufen is a brass band from Austria and the culmination of making music together in a music association. Presented by the Harmonie Municipale de Dudelange.
Well Done’ is the name of the new tour programme of the seven somewhat frazzled gentlemen – “frazzled” as in “well done”, not bloody, not anything in between, but on point and direct. And not really a music programme like those of “normal” musicians who perform one song after the next, but far more like musical cabaret. Grand entertainment, with a polka and waltz beat and a jovial atmosphere, loud and amusing. No bad vibes, just a good show.
Da Blechhaufen are pop fast food, sentimental ballads, spicy peasant jazz, rip-roaring marches, charred classical music, sweet and sour blues, and golden breaded waltzes. Not only do the ears hear, but the eyes always see, too – that’s the credo of this crazy troupe.
