Nathalie Loriers, la pianiste du Brussels Jazz Orchestra, est une des plus brillantes représentantes du jazz belge. En 1999, elle reçoit un Django d’Or et sort le magnifique album « Silent Spring ». Avec son groupe, elle remporte en 2000 l'« Eurodjango » et le Prix Bobby Jaspar décerné par l’Académie française du Jazz. Elle a collaboré avec des musiciens de renommée mondiale, parmi lesquels Toots Thielemans, Lee Konitz, Diederik Wissels et le chanteur David Linx. Avec son nouveau trio, elle joue des compositions personnelles teintées de groove et pourtant très lyriques. Philippe Aerts, figure de proue de la contrebasse belge et européenne, doit sa réputation à sa sonorité ample et puissante, à son timing implacable et son souci constant de l’essentiel. Le batteur américain Rick Hollander a travaillé et enregistré avec Woody Shaw, James Moody, Roy Hargrove, Brad Mehldau et de nombreux autres, tout en poursuivant une carrière individuelle en créant ses propres groupes. *** Nathalie Loriers is one of the foremost jazz pianists in Belgium. In 1999 she receives the Belgian Django d'Or and in 2000 the Euro Django Award as best "contemporary European jazz artist" as well as the Bobby Jaspar Prize. Nathalie Loriers has worked together with a large number of great musicians such as Philip Catherine, Toots Thielemans, Aldo Romano, Charlie Mariano, as well as playing in her own bands. Becoming one of the most in demand bassplayers in Europe, Philippe Aerts had the chance to play with some of the greatests artists on tour: Joe Henderson, Joe Lovano, Chet Baker, Charlie Mariano, and many more. He formed his own trio and works as a regular member of the Philip Catherine trio and the Richard Galliano trio and quartet. In 2002, he is nominated Belgian Jazz Musician of the Year and receives the “Django d’Or”. The American drummer Rick Hollander gained a wealth of experience working and recording with jazz greats such as Woody Shaw, Roy Hargrove, Robin Eubanks a.o., besides leading his own group.
